We are delighted to announce that the Garfield Weston Foundation is supporting Chefs in Schools with a grant of £75,000 over the next three years.

Who are Garfield and Weston?

The Garfield Weston Foundation is family founded and has been supporting a wide range of causes across the UK donating £80m annually for over 60 years now.

It was established in 1958 by the Weston family and is now one of the largest and well respected charitable institutions in the UK, which has donated over £1 billion in total.  The Trustees are descendants of the founder and the Weston family continues to take a highly active and hands-on approach.

Our Work at Chefs in Schools

At Chefs in Schools we work to transform food and to revolutionise food education in schools. Our charity trains school kitchen teams and chefs to deliver tasty, healthy, freshly made food which fuels the future and helps children reach their potential.

We support over 50 schools in London, Bournemouth and Sheffield – reaching over 20,000 pupils each day and work mostly in areas with high levels of socio-economic deprivation, aiming to reduce child obesity and malnutrition.

Thank You Garfield Weston

We would like to thank Garfield Weston for their incredible support which will help us as a  charity to reach new heights – working with more schools, great chefs and helping us to fuel the future.
