How you can help

School budgets are at breaking point. We rely on donations to ensure our service is affordable. The more we can raise, the more schools we can reach. The impact on children’s lives is instant.

Donations and grants enable us to continue and develop our important work. If you would like to make a one-off or regular gift you can do so by donating now.

If you are a charitable trust or a company and want to find our more about partnering with us we would love to hear from you, please get in touch at

If you are an individual who wants to make a difference to the lives of families and children who need our help the most, you can donate via BACS or click the link on the right. If you are a UK taxpayer and eligible for Gift Aid you can increase the value of your gift by 25%.

Is Amazon your one stop shop for everything and anything you need? Groceries, Christmas gifts, DIY tools, you name it you can get it on Amazon. But, why not use Amazon to give back too? When you next go to shop online at Amazon, instead of going straight to the normal homepage, just head instead to, choose your favourite charity to support – it might even be us! – and shop away just like normal – the same products and prices – and Amazon will donate 0.5% of the price to your selected charity.

Here’s why it matters:

School food is more than a meal. Research shows if you improve the food in schools and children’s health, wellbeing and attainment increase.

Action is urgently required to stop the obesity crisis. Diet-related disease can cause life-long health issues and costs the NHS over £6bn a year. And yet, obesity rates are rising – one in four Year 6 pupils are now overweight. In areas with socioeconomic deprivation, these figures are higher.

For some children, their free school meal can be the only food they eat each day – we need to make sure it’s a good one, packed with nutritious ingredients and fresh produce.

And school dining halls present an incredible opportunity to deliver daily food education to children by serving up interesting, nutritious and tasty food.

Finally, if the food is sourced ethically and sustainably – the environment benefits too.

Your support, however big or small, means that we can continue to radically transform the way we think about school food. Our work is helping to improve the health of children and young people, whilst fostering curiosity and excitement around food and cooking. We are also celebrating the school kitchen workforce; investing in their development and valuing the contribution they make to the whole school community.

“Our food waste has reduced from 10 kilos a day to roughly 2 kilos a day. We are helping children to thrive and food is a big part of that. The kitchen is the heart of our school, just like kitchens are the heart of any home”
