The Challenge
In 2023 we partnered with Charlie Bigham’s to support school chefs across the Southwest to feed every child in more educational and nutritious way than ever before.
Our Support
Our training package, the School Chef Educator course, combined practical in-kitchen training days with live zoom sessions and telephone support. Over 10 weeks school chefs, learned about nutrition, school food standards, kitchen skills, recipes, lowering waste and managing teams.
This project was part of a full programme of support across the region.
The Result
The Chefs that worked across multiple schools, had a blast – and learned a whole bunch of invaluable new skills… oh and some tasty new recipes too.
They are now all pushing the school food revolution forward in through the food and food education in their schools.

6 Modules
From nutrition to knife skills, we covered it all.
8 School Chefs
