Nicole Pisani and Hilary Priest on
New Episode of The Headteacher update podcast

A newly released episode of The Headteacher Update podcast features Chefs in Schools co-founder and headteacher of The Grove school in Totnes, Hilary Priest.
The podcast discusses how to deliver high-quality school food on a budget, including quick wins for school lunches, improving free school meals take-up, breakfast clubs, food education and more.
Host Helen Frostick was joined by Headteacher Dr. Jason O’Rourke, alongside Nicole and Hilary. Their arguments echo the core beliefs of Chefs in Schools: that great school food can and does, flip the switch: when the food is good, concentration, behaviour and attainment all improve; that when students have a greater understanding of where their food comes from, and how it’s made, they become more engaged in the world of food; and that a hands on food education makes all the difference.
