7 Year old wins Riverford Christmas Card Competition

Hugo, 7, Wins Christmas Card Design Competition

A seven-year-old pupil at Canada Hill School in Devon has won a Christmas card design competition, with his artwork selected to feature on Riverford’s veg box cards this year.

Hugo, who communicates non-verbally, expressed his delight at the news with a huge smile and a celebratory bite of his orange when he learned of his success.

The winning design will be transformed into Christmas cards and sent to Riverford customers across the country as part of their festive veg box deliveries.

The achievement marks a special moment not just for Hugo, but for the entire Canada Hill School community.

Riverford has been a key supporter of food education initiatives in the Southwest, funding programmes that help schools like Canada Hill place fresh food and food education at the heart of the school. The partnership has enabled students to engage with hands-on learning while developing creative skills.
