This partnership follows a public vote, where we were fortunate enough to receive overwhelming support from our community. We are deeply grateful to everyone who backed us. Your voices helped secure a collaboration that will make a real difference to children’s food education and school meals. With the support of The Wild Meat Company, we will be able to: train more school kitchen teams to cook nutritious meals from scratch, reach more children with hands-on food education, and demonstrate that healthy, freshly prepared meals are both achievable and affordable within school budgets.

The Wild Meat Company has a proud record of supporting good causes. Through their checkout donation scheme, they have already raised over £51,000 for charities. From 2025, those contributions will directly help us give more children access to real food, and the opportunity to cook, taste, and learn with it.

As part of this partnership, we will also be exploring how sustainable, wild ingredients can be introduced into school menus, starting with venison. Nutritious, ethical, and delicious, venison offers a unique way to spark children’s curiosity about where food comes from, while broadening their understanding of sustainable food systems.

This collaboration is about more than just meals, it’s about connecting the dots between sustainable food, education, and children’s health. Together with The Wild Meat Company, we aim to show that good food can be fresh, fun, and full of possibilities.
